      Assistant Professor of Socio-Cultural Anthropology
      The University of Montana, Department of Anthropology invites applications
      for a temporary, one year, non-tenure track faculty position at the
      assistant professor level for the 2000-2001 academic year. The position
      calls for teaching six courses, three courses per semester, during the
      academic year. We are seeking a candidate who can offer courses in cultural
      and social anthropology, political economy, anthropology of religion, and
      gender. Geographical area of expertise is open. Ph.D. is strongly desired
      with a strong teaching record.
      Applicants should submit a letter of interest, a vita, course outlines, and
      the names of three references. The deadline for applications is February 28,
