I'm glad to hear that you'll be coming to SACC in March. That would
certainly be my choice too�in fact, I guess it was, since I'm not
going to AAA this year. My funding situation was like yours for most
of the years I taught. In the beginning, I'd pay half of each
conference I attended out of my own pocket. The best I ever got in
later years was leave approval for both AAA and SACC but funding for
