      An offer for Community Colleges

In an effort to familiarize community college students with the field of
anthropology the American Anthropological Association is offering the
2006-2007 AAA Guide for sale to community colleges at a deeply
discounted rate, of $25.00 including shipping and handling. The AAA
Guide is produced annually and retails for $85.00.

The Guide contains information about most of the university and college
anthropology programs in the United States as well as fifteen other
countries. The book details areas of study, resources, degree
requirements, faculty members' areas of study, contact information, and
much more. The Guide also includes information on program size,
anthropology clubs, and funding opportunities. An index is included
that lists schools by state in addition to listing membership in AAA and
our specialized sections. It also contains statistics on anthropology
degrees granted and dissertation topics for the previous years. All of
this information serves as a useful tool for students considering
colleges and universities, possible majors and career goals.
