      For Professor Margaret Ismaila-Mitchell, travel is an opportunity to
      learn and share with her students. In spring 2006, she expanded her
      knowledge with trips to Egypt and Ghana and provided a community service
      project for 12 students in her African history class. As part of the
      project, the group brought along a suitcase full of clean, used
      children's items, including books, toys and pencils, to donate to an
      orphanage in a Nubian village. Ismaila-Mitchell said she was
      particularly fulfilled to give a little girl a beautiful purple dress
      that one of her students donated. More
