      The Louis Berger Group, Inc. (Berger) is seeking applications from
      experienced archaeologists to fill position openings in our corporate
      office in East Orange, New Jersey. We are looking for dedicated, self-
      motivated individuals to pursue quality archaeological research in a
      cultural resource management context.

      Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.A. in anthropology/archaeology
      and at least three years of supervisory work experience performing
      background and site-specific research, conducting site assessments,
      field surveys, evaluations, and data recovery programs; and preparing
      technical reports and proposals. Candidates with 5 to over 10 years
      experience preferred. Previous experience with prehistoric and/or
      historic archaeological resources and familiarity with federal and state
      laws, standards, guidelines, and Section 106 compliance, required. In
      addition, experience with GIS, innovative excavation techniques,
      osteology, specialized material culture analysis, or project
      administration is greatly desired.

      Demanding project schedules require demonstrated proficiency in
      research, fieldwork, analysis, writing, organizational, and
      communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative or part of
      an interdisciplinary team. Applicant must be available to travel to
      project locations throughout the Northeast. Applicants must be willing
      to relocate to office area in New Jersey or New York City area.

      Competitive salaries are negotiated based on qualifications. Full time
