Group Description

"Slugging" is a popular form of commuting in the Washington, DC area.  This group is a fast-growing group of commuters who slug to Rosslyn from the Rt.17 commuter lot in Stafford, Virginia.  These people wish to arrange a ride back to Rt.17 from Rosslyn so they do not need to go through the crowds at the Pentagon.  For more information about slugging in general, go to www.slug-lines.com.

HERE'S HOW THIS EMAIL RING WORKS: Every work day, people who wish to travel to Rt.17 from Rosslyn log their ride request into a private web form, and they're added to that day's list -- in the order they submitted the form in.  In fact, some people submit request to the web site even before they leave home for work in the morning so that they may be higher on the list.  Matches are made and appointment details are sent by email out to the occupants of each vehicle.

To be added to this service, submit your request for this Yahoo group.  You'll be emailed, asking for additional information.  Then you'll receive the web address and your personal Log In information to submit your request each day.
