- Hello, everyone!
While I'm enjoying reading the second half of <<Julian>>, I'm looking ahead
Our next book is <<Bearkeeper's Daughter>> by Gillian Bradshaw.
As this book is out of print, I would like to know from you whether or not
you have access to the book at your local library: If most of you wouldn't
have access, we might have to skip the book.
This is a book that's easy to read, so we could presumably discuss it in one
session so that you need not renew the book. We could declare the following
session an "open chat", i.e. if we still want to discuss the book, we can
continue there, and if not, just chat about things Roman and books in general.
Meanwhile, <<Justinian>> by H.N. Turteltaub, our final book on the Byzantine
Empire, is a mass market paperback, easily available and inexpensive.
Looking forward to "hearing" from you,
