(This is one of several mails I'm sending you today)
We are now getting to Hannibal. The first novel by Ross Leckie,
"Hannibal, The Novel" is fairly short. So I propose we discuss the
book in two sections: The first one through Chapter IV, Page 121.
This gives us ample time to discuss Hannibal per se, the
Carthagenians, warfare during those days, etc.
The information on our chat, dates, and background readings now have
been moved to their proper place:
It would be nice if each of us, over the next 2 1/2 weeks, would post
what books on Hannibal's era he/she is reading or is familiar with.
Jim, we all know that you have read them all ;-)
And thank you again for all the information!
More on my revamped reading list and chatroom problems to follow.
