Centuries ago, the Earth was visited by an alien who left the solar crystals, items of immense power. Now, the crystals have been unearthed, beginning to emit an energy signal into the universe. A calling card, inviting the right wielders to come find them.

Now, the year is 2050. Earth has been unified for the last 30 years and in contact with other worlds for the last 20, with the various law enforcement and militaries of the Earth replaced with the Earth Patrol Force. Earth Patrol base 47 is located in Angel Grove in California and serves as home to the members of the Earth Patrol Force officers for the United States, be they from Earth or any of the other allied worlds.

Now, the wrong potential wielders approach. The Kaldor Imperium. It is up to a group of Earth Patrol cadets who bond to the crystals to protect the earth from these invaders.
