We especially need some more students at Van Meter and Loma Prieta.  This is a great opportunity for your child to receive individual attention in a small class setting.

      LEGO ROBOT CREATURES

Learn to build and program robot creatures and machines using the LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Invention System.  Students practice mechanical design, construction, computer programming, and teamwork skills.  In small teams, using LEGO parts, motors and sensors, students build a different robot each week.  Students use a control center or computer to program their robots to move, communicate, react, and make sounds in order to solve challenges. Great preparation for robotics competitions such as FIRST LEGO League.  No previous experience required. More information is available at
      www.RoboticsLearning.com.

Instructor: Steve Putz has taught LEGO robotics and coached award winning FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams since 1999. He is a director of the annual Northern California FLL State Tournament and founder of NCaFLL.   Steve founded Robotics Learning to provide training and resources for LEGO Robotics. He has a degree in Computer Science and received several software patents while at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center.
