begin at 3:30pm. If you can not attend that day, a private audition

The NEW OLD THEATER Revival of
Black Eyed Susan (1829)
at Riversdale Mansion
Production Dates: May 21,22,23 2004
This will be an unusual theatrical production, set in the 1850s
using many of the production techniques of the early 19th Century,
including a lamp-lit stage, live music, authentic costumes, and
early acting style.
Period song and dance will be incorporated into the play. Volunteers
are needed at all levels of experience. There are a few demanding
roles, some medium-sized roles, and a number of walk-on parts that
have no dialogue or very little. Singing ability is a plus, but not
Small stipend. Possibility of added performances with pay.
One Heroine's Friend (a female comic role),
Our Hero- (a jolly sailor lad),
A major villain,
Two other villains,
An eccentric comedian,
A rustic comedian,
A woman who sings and will dress as a man.
Chorus, who double in small roles and specialties: (Men and Women)
Musicians who play mid-19th century music, and anyone interested in
