<On Oct 18, 1929, the Paul Whiteman Orchestra recorded the classic tune by
Henry Creamer and Turner Layton "After You've Gone". The arrangement was by
William Grant Still. A terrific recording: good hot
<solos by Bill Rank and Andy Secrest (in a Bixian mode), a great duet by
Eddie Lang and Joe Venuti, a fine vocal by the great Bing Crosby with an
      excellent Eddie Lang accompaniment.

<The tune is included in the Red Hot Jazz Archive. Unfortunately, the file
in the archive is truncated: it is missing about 30 seconds of the
introduction. The file is 2 min 35 sec. The original 78, Col
<2098-D, is about 3 min 2 sec in length and, of course, includes the
      complete introduction.
