      Right, I was specifically considering dance bands.

      The Robichaux has two violins and, interestingly, a slide trombone as early
      as 1896. Robichaux's was certainly a reading band and their music would have
      been very different from that of the CJB.

      Also found photo Fate Marable band from supposed 1918/1919 with also
      supposed Louis together with Joe Howard on cornets. This would prove that
      Louis was already familiar with a two cornet band although Marable's was
      also strictly reading.

      Max Harrison, in a review in 'Essential Jazz Records' of the Celestin sides
      previously mentioned, observes the similarity between these and the CJB. He
      questions whether this is imitation or common source. That is the question.
