      They did actually correct the spelling for their last issues.
      John R.T. Davies did some restoration work for Masters of Jazz, e.g. Bechet from about vols. 8 to 13, some Ellington, some later Billie Holiday. MoJ advertised Davies' work in the IAJRC Journal, but I understand they never paid him, so the last issues were mainly Tony Baldwin. Some of the non-JRTD work was good - e.g. the first two volumes of Jelly Roll Morton, which are said to be transfers of 78s.

      Jazz Oracle seems to be concentrating on the complete Red Nichols Five Pennies etc. which were originally scheduled for release on Mosaic. Forte was owned jointly by the late Jeff Healey and Colin Bray of JO, so the quesion is whether JO is entitled to reissue them. There was a pirate reissue on King Jazz, now probably as difficult to track down as the Forte.
