... a lot has happened (in the technological advancements for sound reproduction) in the last 15 years. They can now take an unplayable acetate or 78, make a scan on a computer and have programs to extract music out of the photos of the grooves. For both the legacy of your family (IMHO your father was a very fascinating read) and the immortal Bubber Miley, I think you may want to look into it.
