      While I think about it, if the player with Tiny Parham & His "Forty" Five on
      the 1927 Paramount is Mike McKendrick, this would be Reuben Michael "Big
      Mike" who recorded with Louis Armstrong in 1932 rather that Gilbert Michael
      "Little Mike" who went to Europe with Eddie South in in July 1928 and became
      involved in a gunfight with Sidney Bechet on a Montmartre street on 20
      December. Surprisingly he was allowed to stay in France after his release
      from prison - the writer Louis Aragon is believed to have pulled some
      strings in high places on his behalf - and only returned to the U.S. in
