According to Irene Castle's autobiography (Castles In The Air, 1958) the
house band, led by someone called Paris. Can this latter really be true?
They had been accustomed to accompanying Apache dancing so may not have
found the Castles entirely alien, but it seems unlikely the music was very
idiomatic if this is all correcctly remembered.
