Captain Dallas Pajac was officially tired. Who knew dragging a wooden boat along would be so draining! With a sigh he released the rope pulled taut across his shoulder and let the little boat-on-wheels roll to a halt.

"This isn't working out," He mused aloud, "I'm going to have to get myself a crew... or better yet, a steed!"
That was the best idea. A pokemon he could tie the rope around to pull him along whilst he steered from inside the boat like it was supposed to be. Who ever heard of the captain pulling the vessel?
      No one, that's who!

The Ampharos slumped down in the grass unceremoniously and brought up some cud to chew thoughtfully. After stretching himself out he laid back and threw his flippers behind his head, set to daydream about himself ordering about a crew of Flaaffy, all readily prepared to follow his orders. Yeah, that would be perfect....

Perched high up in one of the trees with her arms behind her head, a small fuchsia colored Riolu with the tail of an Aipom sat staring out across the plain. Blinking her eyes in surprise when a large wooden boat gradually came into view headed by a yellow `pack mule' who plumped down in the grass, she shook her head with surprise and sat up to stare down at the bizarre sight. "What in the world…?" she asked out loud to herself with a giggle and leap off the branch without a glance or second thought. Falling down through the trees, she nimbly used her long palmed tail to catch a long branch to slow her decent. Using her tail to swing herself through the trees like a monkey, the oddly colored Riolu hybrid landed gracefully on the ground already in a running cartwheel headed towards the strange new creature whom she was simply dying to figure out who, what, or where it had even come from. She had never seen anything quite like the odd yellow Pokémon who looked kind of like a flameless upright Ponyta with a Lantern tail light.

Cart-wheeling up behind Dallas' head, she came to a stop in a handstand using her tail for balance while she stared `down' at him with a giggle and poked her head into view. "Hiya! I have never seen a Pokémon like you before, are you a Ponyta? Oh my name is Setsuna, how about you? And uh… What is that thing over there?" she asked in a flurry, asking questions as they popped into her head at random. She was still fairly young for her species, well a young adult really. Then again she really did not know what she was since her mother had been a shiny Aipom while her father had been a Riolu, so did that make her a Ripom or maybe an Aiplu, who knew. She did look a lot like her mother, well besides the tail, but she liked looking different it made things a whole lot more fun. Or at least it had so far beyond a few clowns who had made fun of her in the past. All that she knew was that he looked strange, at least to her, and that she wanted to find out what kind of Pokémon he was exactly. Well, that and maybe show off a little.

OOC: One clown to suit another? Come on YIM sometime and add me, maybe we can brainstorm a plot or something, or would you rather wing it in the spirit of clown-type acrobats and all?
