Viktoras in Portland "Eating for Planetary Survival"
- Hello, again!
The location of the Wednedsay September 10th "Eating for Planetary Survival" presentation by Viktoras Kulvinskas has been confirmed as the Cell Rejuvenation Center at Bikram's Yoga John's Landing in Portland, OR. There will also be a presentation on Tuesday, September 9th, at the People's Food Co-op in Portland. Each presentation is $20 or $15 pre-registered. While both presentations share a title, Viktoras speaks improvisationally and each event has something special to offer.
Viktoras Kulvinskas is an Essene Bishop, co-founder of the world-renowned Hippocrates Health Institute and the developer of its wheatgrass and raw food program, and widely considered to be the father of the Modern Raw Foods Revolution. This long-time visionary, mystic, and spiritual leader will conduct a provocative talk in which he applies to our food choices Socrates' admonition that "the unexamined life is not worth living", examining recent science around the global food crisis, global warming, nutrition, and animal sentience.
This is a rare opportunity to spend time in our region with one of the first leaders of the raw foods movement and mentor to many generations of subsequent leaders. It's really an event to not be missed, and priced so that all may attend.
Private consultations are available by appointment, as detailed on the registration website.
