"Eating for Planetary Survival" - Viktoras Kulvinskas in Portland Sept 9 & 10
- Viktoras Kulvinskas -- Essene Bishop, co-founder of the Hippocrates Institute, and father of the Modern Raw Foods Revolution -- will be conducting two presentations in Portland on the topic of "Eating for Planetary Survival".
In this provocative talk, this long-time visionary, mystic, and spiritual leader will apply to our food choices Socrates' admonition that "the unexamined life is not worth living", examining recent science around the global food crisis global warming, nutrition, and animal sentience.
Author of the New York Times Best-Seller, Survival in the 21st Century, Rev. The first presentation will be held at People's Food Co-op on Tuesday, September 9th, from 7-9 pm. The second presentation will be held at a TBD location on the evening of Wednesday, September 10th.
