      Hi Sharon!

There is no calorie counting when eating raw food. In terms of
weight loss, everyone is different. In addition to what you are
eating, there are lots of additional factors in terms of how active
you are, how much weight you have to lose, what your stress levels
are, etc. that will impact how fast you lose weight.

In general, your body will naturally find its set point when you are
eating an all raw/living foods diet. If you find you are not losing
the desired weight you are tring to, try cutting back on the amount
of fats eaten (nuts, oils, etc.).

You may find it beneficial to attend the Victoria Boutenko event
next Sat (6/21) at People's Food Co-op and ask her your questions.
I've posted details of the event in a separate post (or email
      rawpdx@... for info).

      Good Luck!
      Sally
