      Hi,
      Does anyone know:
All I hear about lately is how great turmeric is for everything.  Can you get good benefit from using plain ol' bulk turmeric herb from natural food store, or should you buy supplement product that has the curcumin isolated and standardised?
      Thanks!!!
      Laura

Hello Laura,  I have not heard of the benefits of turmeric...please share.  In regards to whole food vs supplements, my rule is whole is the only choice.  When elements are removed or "isolated" they loose their relationship to their source...nature is complex and elements are interrelated -  they work syergistically within the whole.  Raw adds the life force factor.   Also, the process of isolating elements to create a supplement often involves undesirable chemicals.  I take a superfood that is raw, organic and full of great nutrients.  Most raw folks say they shy away from supplements.
        All the Best,
        Celeste
