Re: rtrak-hab onboard power

I believe 3.3V is only used for the GPS so should be ok to remove the reg. (which is probably the easiest way to un-power the GPS without cutting a trace). 5V

rtrak-hab onboard power

Can the rtrak-HAB's 5V regulator supply an additional 90mA (for a Garmin GPS18x)? Are there any ramifications to removing the 3.3V regulator to avoid wasting

Re: RTrak-HAB doesn't lock

I’ve compared about a dozen different antennas and the one supplied with the RTrak is as good as any in regard to how well it receives and only problem has

rtrak-hab schematic?

Is there a schematic available for the rtrak-HAB? I need to see if I can easily bypass the onboard GPS and wire in one that will work. -Jason kg4wsv
