Subject: [ROUNDLOOMS] Re: Cross post* looking for help
I used those new KK long looms but you could do it on a round one
too. It's not done yet (I just tryed it out the other day to see if
it would even work.) I was kind of surprised that it would and that
it looks like it's going to come out nicer then I thought.
Right now I am doing the figure 8 stitch on it (it'll be double
knitted. Look the same on both sides.) I am going to try to give it
shape and then dye it (not just sure how that is going to turn out.)
I do think what I am going to do is video tape parts of it and
then post it so if anyone wants to see how to do it they can.
I'll let you know just how strong it turns out because we are a
very active family and our outside rugs REALLY get used a lot here.
I think the worse thing would be that it would maybe fray some but I
can't imagin that would be much. We will find out here real soon (I
have a rode trip to make this weekend and I am not driving so the
whole trip there and back I'll get to getting this rug down. I can't
wait to see how dyeing it turns out.)
I'll either post it on my blog or ask Amy (spunky Blue cat) if
she'll maybe post it on her site for me.
