With a little randomization , a touch of algi-rhythm and the
code set's , the ROS Modem , the digital version of Giuseppe
Verdi's Il trovatore , has slipped silently into the Armature
      radio record books

With the latest version , the HF mode has now the ability to
selectively decode any desired call signe , while other qso's
are in progress on the same channel . creating a bonsai
dispersed spectrum communication mode that fits into the speech
channel of a SSB transmitter (obviously FM and AM do not
      afford the stacking addition)

Those of us who previously waited patiently for a qso to
finish, can now simply call cq or reply to a cq call in the
midst of other traffic , this may appeal to some existing
operating styles ? best results are obtained using the 2K
rather than the 500Hz , due to reduced collisions ..the MF
modes do not support this function , being MFSK and not
dispersed. (take note , those 5000 or so miles to the west of
      UK)

The laws of physics do still apply of course , stations living
next door to each other may expedience problems ..but outside the
ground wave , in the skip zone, early results are quite
      promising ,
