However, when many of our elected officials face no opposition year after year, our liberty erodes and we risk becoming little more than a very powerful banana republic. That is what is happening in NY right now. The vast majority of our elected state officials face no opposition year and after, and we now see the result. Oppressive taxes, out of control spending, dysfunctional government.
That is why the new Assembly Republican Leader, Brian Kolb, is looking to run candidates in every Assembly district in NY in 2010. But we can't do that without the help of every Republican and a very large war chest to take on the Democrats and their powerful special interest supporters who benefit from the status quo. Please help us to restore democracy to New York and preserve our fundamental liberties.

New York State Election Law permits individual contributions up to $94,200 and corporate contributions up to an aggregate of $5,000 per year to a political party committee, including the Republican Assembly Campaign Committee (RACC). However, Election Law permits unlimited individual and corporate donations to the housekeeping account of party committees, including the RACC Housekeeping Account.
Political contributions are not tax deductible.
