Re: Harvest festival and Freedom rally
- This communication would not normally be appropriate onthe rlcny site, but since there are more than 30 people herewho are not yet tied into our Regional 'network" I am using this method to reach out to that 30 to see if anyone has interest at this time to assist in his project. All of youcan expect to receive an invitation to join the new localMeet Up ASAP I hope that you do so in order that we keep this state group free of local happenings.Carl===========================================Hi Igor,I live "down the road" in Hamptonburgh (Orange County),about 30 minutes from New Paltz and Highland. I amgoing to send you an invitation to join a new RLC HudsonValley Meet Up Group which I hope will aid us in"organizing" more effectively in this Region.I have communicated with Rob in the past, but I have notmet him as yet. I do know that 'hemp' is his top priority, and every other issue is of secondary importance to him.I do not know about the festival RIGHT NOW, but I amvery interested in working with you. Literature, unfortunatelyis a difficult situation, but this might force me to concentrateon it.I have worked with Don on a couple of projects, and lookforward to seeing him again. Hopefully we can meet upin the next few days to discuss the matter further.Carl----- Original Message -----From: Igor GembitskyTo: csvensson@...Sent: Tuesday, September 30, 2008 11:20 AMSubject: Harvest festival and Freedom rallyHi Carl!
I have recently got a personal invitation from Rob Robinson, the founder and organizer of Harvest festival and freedom fair ( damnsam.com ), to run a booth for the libertarians at the festival (and subsequently have the $80 admission fee waivered) between October 10th and 13th. Donald Silberger has already committed to join the table to represent the LPNY. I am personally very interested in representing the RLC, along with another volunteer or 2 that would be interested. Please let me know if you, or anyone you know, would be interested in attending this promotional event and if you could provide some promotional literature.
Finally, I would like to follow up by saying that I'm still living in the Hudson Valley, just outside of New Paltz in Highland. I work about 20 minutes away in Milton. How about you? Where are you stationed? What can I do from here to help in your efforts?
