I'm sorry, Jeff --I didn't understand that distinction.  I never noticed that I was communicating in a different group thinking that the RLC group was the RLC group that I belonged to.  Won't happen again.  -Geo..

For the third (and last!) time in the past two or three weeks, PLEASE limit discussions on RLC-Action to "RLC strategy, tactics and organizational issues".  We have been lenient in applying those criteria, but philosophical discussions (such as the relative merits of the presidential candidates) should be taken to RLC-Discuss or elsewhere.

[Discussion of the relative merits of the presidential candidates would be acceptable *if* it *directly* related to a pending endorsement resolution but, since an RLC presidential endorsement resolution, if any, is currently in the hands of the respective chartered states, such discussion here is now out of order.]

The Republican Liberty Caucus NEEDS a venue for members to discuss opportunities to pursue constructive ACTION.  Further, new members who may not have the time or patience for interesting but time consuming philosophical discussions (such as those which may have driven them from the LP) NEED a place in which they may be introduced to the positive WORK of the organization.

Any further off-topic discussion may result in a member being placed on "Moderated" status or, ultimately, being given a "Vacation" from the e-group.

A good actor with a good script writer... Thompson sounds more like Rush Limbaugh than Ron Paul.
