      early writings) were very libertarian. Unfortunately, circumstances --
      including facing legislators who were out-and-out socialists -- made him
      unable to govern that way.

      The governor of New Hampshire? For once, you've hit the target squarely.
      Benson is not only one of the libertarian Republican elected officials out
      there, he has welcomed and encouraged the Free State Project.

      It would be nice if he ran for president...
