A Newport Cemetery book has been published. John Sterling,Barbara Austin and Letty Champion did a great job with this, which includes pixs. You can obtain a copy from R.I. Genealogical Society (RIGS.org). There is also a CD.

I have a flyer on the books with an address for East Greenwch RI and a listed webpage
      http://members.tripod.com/~debyns/cemetery.html

      On the list are:
      Coventry
      East Greenwich
      Exeter
      Hopkinton
      Middletown
      North Kingstown
      Warwick

There is no date on this flyer and I am unsure if there is a book on Newport.
I was writing with debyns last year on email so I am assuming the link is still in
place or you could find her (we were corresponding on the Greene family; my Rice famiy
was only in MA and not RI

      jean)

Has anyone heard of a book on the cemeteries and inscriptions for Newport?
I have the others which were published..but not one on Newport. Thanks for
answering. I'm looking at a black family named Rice..

      Thank you
