Group Description

We are a group of concerned citizens taking care of the pets and feral cats left behind on the RIT Campus. We are all volunteers. The group traps and neuters the feral cats along with rabies shots. These cats are monitored and are documented for illnesses , we provide them with shelters and take any kittens for adoption. Any tame cats are adopted out to approved homes.

Our group depends solely on donations. If you would like to donate either food or money please contact us at ritcats@yahoo.com. We are always also looking for foster homes, if you can help with fostering or would like to adopt one of these special pets please let us know.

A total of 399 cats, kittens, dogs, fish, rabbits and turtles have been rescued from the campus and have either been adopted out or given medical attention by this group in the last 13 years. The turtles were hit by cars and were taken to be humanely euthanized. Thank you for caring! If there is a problem with a cat or you see kittens on campus please call 585 272 9821.
