      Stranded in the Shallows with a Talent for the Depths: The Paradoxical Relationship of Shame and Creativity (1.5 CEUs)
      Creativity is seen as a force for individual transformation. Less talked about is the powerful role of the other in creative expression or its collapse. The dynamics of the search for the other, shame, and dissociation in the creative process is explored in a case and in the life of a mystic whose disavowal of authorship enabled her to produce acclaimed novels.
