- Amen.I am pursuaded that Groups.IO is probably stable for the long term.If you read his "About" and his blog it all makes sense, apparently.(I have no special knowledge past that...)I am also pursuaded by the old line, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."Aside from the fairly rare cramp, things on Yahoo seem "good enough."Anything, fielded by anybody can go down for a host of drastic unexpectedreasons. So, there is no guarantee anything won't suddenly go bustand sink. Look at Enron Corp......just one man's opinion.73KW1B-----Original Message-----

Subject: RE: [RADIOSHACKDX394] Yahoo and groups down
Thankfully, Bill, you have been my co-owner for many years.Yesterday, I posed a question about the future of this group to the owners and moderators after a brief review of Groups.io. I learned that the storage capacity for a free account is now 1GB while our Yahoo Photos page reports a 100GBlimit. But that is immaterial as we are far below the lower. My main concerns with moving are the longevity of Groups.io (is its only revenue from paying groups?) and the loss of members. The latter may be illusory; perhaps there are only a few dozen active members from among the 1779 on the list.Tom ve3meo
