Thank you Ashby. I do, continually, check the Big Ytree and the only Dunbars showing are with my two R-M222 men. The Big Ytree was last updated May 23rd,

  • Cross-referencing IDs for DF27?

Are DF27 kits' IDs being cross-referenced? If so, I just received the yFull ID for 342681. Figured I'd send all IDs again (or for the 1st time :) surname:

Debra, The last DF27 comparison was done on April 16. A rearrangement of the April 16 file, that does not have any new data, was posted on May 4. There are

Group Description

This is a group for the members of Family Tree DNA's R1b-DF27 and Subclades Project to discuss topics related to R1b-DF27's origin, age and geographic distribution. All DF27+ people, including M153+, L165+, L176.2+, DF81+, DF83+, Z220+, SRY2627+, Z195+, Z196+ Z198+ and Z225+ people, are welcome to this Yahoo Group and the FTDNA project.

DF27 is a Single-Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) on the Y chromosome.

The modal haplotype for all of DF27 is in Ysearch record 53ZBP.

Please check out the FILES and LINKS menu items of this yahoo group (under MORE).

If you are an FTDNA customer AND are DF27+, please click here to join the project
This is a public project where surname, origin and results data are shared.

The group's purpose is to advance deeper testing and understanding of R1b-DF27. An important goal is to discover the full deep ancestral family tree of paternal lineages for DF27 people. The primary method of marking branches in the tree are SNPs.

Please consider deeper SNP testing via National Genographic 2.0 or the Advanced Orders menu in your FTDNA account. The R1b-DF27 clade of people is very common across Europe so it is important to determine what subclade of DF27 that you fit it into. Some of the newly discovered downstream SNP's are Z220, Z225, DF81 and DF83, but there are many others.

This is intended for those in the DF27 project and interested in pursuing project goals. Do not use this for non-DF27 specific topics, promotion, a cultural agenda or to denigrate others. This can result in being banned without warning.
