- Jul 27Regarding the first group of celebrities -- Anne Meara, Tony Roberts, Anita Gillette, William Shatner, Betsy Palmer, and Robert Culp -- only Anne, Anita, and William are confirmed as having given away the big money before this taping session. Betsy and Tony did later, for sure, but I don't know if they had already done so in their two appearances prior to this. I'm guessing that Robert had taped his ABC appearance against Joan Rivers before this, but I don't know if he had any big wins.
