Yeah, kind of weird I suppose but maybe Evil Woman fits in... LOL!DebIn a message dated 1/27/2011 6:36:26 P.M. US Mountain Standard Time, eichler2@... writes:
I was watching an old Mystery Science Theater episode the
other day and during a scene where a redneck couple was
being stalked by the monster in their water-stained shack,
Mike started theorizing on the music they might like to
listen to. Along with Lynyrd Skynyrd and 38 Special, he
named ELO as a "white trash" favorite.
I had never thought of ELO as that kind of band, so I tried
Googling for "ELO White Trash" and found this web page:
Their recommeded music for a "White Trash Party" includes the
Doobie Brothers and ELO.
Am I the only one who is kind of surprised by this? When I
think redneck or "white trash" music, I usually think of
country or hair metal, not 70s pop.

Heh, I forgot about that one. I've never been sure if that song
is meant to be taken seriously or if it's supposed to be a parody.
