      Hello all! I wish to formally announce that Archie Patterson,
      former publisher/editor of the acclaimed progressive music publication
      Eurock, will debut as a regular columnist in issue #39 of Progression
      (due out late June). Archie will bring his expertise in the realms of
      Krautrock, electronic, avant-garde and other "serious" prog subgenres
      to the fore in his column.
      Here is a quick rundown on the new, current issue and further
      plans for issue #39:

      Issue #38 is now available! Contents include: Special Kansas
      report, comprising in-depth interviews with Kerry Livgren, Steve Walsh
      and Phil Ehart. Interviews with Jade Warrior, Gary Lucas, Poisonous
      Museum, Rockenfield/Speer, Under the Sun, Sylvan and Xang. Feature
      articles on Fish and progressive concept albums. Special CD bonus --
      Baltimore progressive band Food for Worms.

      Issue #39 will be available in late June. Contents will include:
      Interviews with Rhapsody, Starcastle, Uli Jon Roth, Barclay James
      Harvest, Visible Wind, Jon Lord, Michael Manring, Michael Harris, and
      others. Feature articles on Baja Prog 2001 and the connection between
      classical music and progressive rock. Special CD bonus -- Full-length
