      Hello everyone …

Specializing in rare cuts by classic and modern bands, Prog Rock Deep Cuts promises to match the obscure with the new and fresh. Intelligent, emotional, and visceral classic to modern progressive rock broadcasted live every Thursday from 7-10 pm EST on www.progrock.com.
This week (January 2nd), Deep Cuts is proud to present yet another varied playlist.  Though the playlist will ultimately be determined during the show, music in consideration include tracks from "powerhouse indie-jazz ensemble" Pixel and their new record, "We Are All Small Pixels" - a unique Norwegian band that fuses jazz with stunning female vocals on the sensational Cuneiform Record label.
Additionally, cuts from echolyn, Mahavishnu-inspired fusion band Moraine, classic Italian band, Goblin, and Gong are fair game to be featured this week.  To top it off, tunes from the long-lost classic Zeuhl record "4 Visions" by Eskaton caught my ear, with their hypnotic rhythms and innovative use of electronics, as well cuts from Gentle Giant, Steve Hillage, Argentinian Jazz-prog legends and their epic "Anabelas" record from 1978, and Soft Machine will be sprinkled into the playlist, making for an epic and engaging voyage into prog's less-charted waters.
Join us this Thursday on www.progrock.com and chat with us in the chat room for what is promising to be an exciting 3 hour trip through modern and classic progressive music!
