      The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, the oldest and largest Jewish film festival in the world,
      is seeking interns in different departments. We are a small but very active and busy arts
      presenting organization featuring an excellent staff with a wide variety of expertise.

      ORGANIZATION PROFILE
      Acclaimed as the most beloved and successful Jewish community event in the Bay Area, the
      San Francisco Jewish Film Festival is the oldest and largest Jewish Film Festival in the world.
      Now entering its 33rd year, SFJFF screens year-round in San Francisco, and during the three-
      week summer Festival in San Francisco, Berkeley, San Rafael, and Palo Alto attracting over
      30,000 ticket buyers. The 33rdSan Francisco Jewish Film Festival will take place July 25-August
      12, 2013, but internships are available now through the festival run.

      POSITION SUMMARY
      Internships are available in Production, Programming, Social Media, Marketing and Publicity;
      however, interns will work across disciplines, gaining experience in production, development,
      marketing and programming. The intern/s are expected to perform a variety of tasks, ranging
      from assisting with typical festival tasks, administrative tasks (light filing, limited data entry)
      to writing, development and program research, assisting with the festival, special events/
      screenings, web updates and more.

      The festival run is a fast paced, exciting environment that includes some evenings and
      weekends- good writing skills, discretion and initiative required. HTML, Final Cut, Raiser’s Edge,
      Photoshop, Aperture, MS Office, inDesign skills all a plus, but we are also a good place to gain
      experience with those programs and others.

      POSITION TIMEFRAME: Now â€" May or June - August, 2013, 10-15 hours per week.
      This is an unpaid internship but we can offer Units of Academic Credit.
