      Hello Youth Filmmakers & Instructors:

      Project YouthView is pleased to announce 2012 Call for Youth Film Shorts! It's that time of the year for youth to show us their talent and creativity by submitting films shorts of 10 minutes or less. All youth film entries will be due February 3, 2012. Selected filmmakers will have their pieces showcased at the event and will be eligible for an Audience Choice and Judges' Choice Award packages that includes a cash prize. This year, the Judges' Choice Award (awarded by prestigious judges that includes Russel Simmons, William H. Macy, Steve Buscemi, and award-winning writer, Terence Winter) will receive a trip to Los Angeles and private screening with HBO Executives! Download the 2012 Entry Form.
      We are pleased to share the date May 2, 2012 has been set for Alternatives in Action's  8th Annual Project YouthView Film Festival presented at the Alameda Theatre & Cineplex. Sponsored by HBO, Project YouthView is the premier bay area event that showcases the power of young people through film.
