              Otherwise I’ve attached information about the Christmas Toy Store that is taking place in Winona on December 9th. If you cannot open the attachment, here are the details of the program. This is open to anyone who live in Winona County who needs help with a toy for their child.

              The Christmas Toy Store

              On Saturday, December 9th, 2006

              At the Tandeski Center, 1200 Storrs Pond Road, between 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.

               

              Here’s a reminder on how this program works.

              This program is specifically for parents with children ,15 years old or younger,  who need help during the holidays. 

               

              Time tickets are handed out to adult participants starting at 8:30am until 12:45pm. The time ticket tells you when you will be allowed to enter the Christmas Toy Store to shop. The first 25 tickets, numbered 1 – 25, will enter the building at 8:45 am to register then will be allowed to enter the Toy Store at 9:00am. Individuals holding the next twenty-five tickets, 26 – 50, will be allowed to enter the building at 9:10 to register then will enter the Toy Store at 9:25am.  Each following group of 25, will enter the toy store in 25 minute intervals. Children must be accompanied by a parent to enter the toy store.

              Knowing your entry time allows you to leave the area instead of waiting in line. If you leave, please be back at least 10 minutes before your entry time. This will enable you to register at the Sign-In table.

               

              Before you enter the toy store, you will register at the Sign-In table. At the Sign-In station, the volunteer will ask you for your name, address & number of children you have. PLEASE BE HONEST and ONLY COUNT YOUR CHILDREN between the ages of newborn to 15 years old.

               

              If one parent shops for the toys, the other parent cannot shop at a different time for toys for the same children.

               

              You will receive one ticket for each child you have, One Ticket, One Toy

               

              Please note that this year grandparents will not be allowed to shop for toys for their grandchildren. If you have legal custody of your grandchildren, please bring appropriate documentation to prove your custody.
