We use a a Hydra-Shield which is bolted on below the prop. It not only protected the prop, but gets you on plane faster with out the bow rising up. It made a

I tried the tiller extension and it helped a little. I was think about a prop change has anyone had success with that on a 6hp 4 stroke to help get on plane

I would try a combination of changing the motor trim (angle) a tiller extension to change the weight distribution. For a tiller extension a piece of pvc pipe

if possible, see if you can "beg or borrow" a 4hp and a 6hp. That's the only way to really determine what will work with your weight in a 10' Bote. Also, your
