      About the Author
Joan Stromberg lives in south central Indiana with her husband of nearly 20
years, Bob and their eight children, ages 6 months to 17 years old. The
Strombergs have always homeschooled their children. As a young girl, Joan fell in
love with history through reading historical fiction. Her dream was to be able to
bring the love of history to other children through writing historical
fiction when she grew up. Combining her love of history with her love of the
Catholic Church, the first books in the Glory of America Series were born. Now this
Saints in Progress series will bring the everyday Catholic girl or boy to life
      through stories of America's past.

      Book Description

After an explosion at the biggest iron mill in town, twelve-year-old Mary
Mulhearn tries to clear her father of suspected Molly Maguire terrorism. Daughter
of an Irish immigrant, Mary must use all her faith, her wits and even her
quick feet to stay one step ahead of the company spy. But who could he really be?
