I am not sure what type is growing here in the North Florida Panhandle. It is also referred to as Cedar. I haven't ingested any of the berries, only tinctured

Sam, my understanding is that it's toxic in the way cinnamon is.  It's pretty hard to consume a lethal dose and it's all dose related. --Celia--     On
