Canine Cancer 2000 Mile walk at Woody's Dog Wash
- Stop by Woody's Dog Wash & Boutique Thurs. July 2nd between 11-3 to meet Luke Robinson & his boys...and to support awareness of canine cancer. The dogs will be getting bathed at the shop and Luke will be hanging around! :)
Arriving from Austin
Luke Robinson and his Great Pyrenees dogs, Murphy, 8, and Hudson, 2, are expected to arrive in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. That will be about half-way in their 2,000-mile journey from Austin, Texas, to Boston to raise awareness for canine cancer research, prevention and treatment.
Around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, they'll have a police escort as they walk across the West End Bridge to participate in the Pirates' Pup Nite at PNC Park. Mr. Robinson said anyone is welcome to join him. On Wednesday, they'll do a meet and greet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Market Square, Downtown. On Thursday, they'll be at Woody's Dog Wash & boutique, 5843 Brownsville Road, South Park, at 11 a.m. and then from 5 to 9 p.m. at Robinson Towne Center with the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society.
