      To Alex.Richie,

      Hi Alex,
Thanks for last message.Have been off line for some while but am back with new address.
Believe Free Church did not commence till 1847 so records won't help my cause!
For your information the whaler "Oscar" of Aberdeen was wrecked off Aberdeen,1st. april 1813. All but two of the crew were drowned.Capt.John Innes the master, aged 42 was buried in his father's lair in Newburgh Churchyard  - a relation of Elizabeth? Two harpooners, George Buchan aged 29 and Alex.Buchan aged 25 both of Peterhead also drowned  - Relations of George Buchan and Elizabeth?
Hope this is of some interest. Also note Ythan was busy little commercial river in 1800's.
      Regards, Malcolm Simpson.
