      Below is all I have on Nathaniel Leslie. This was extracted from my Book "Peterhead Shipmasters Volume 1) :

      NATHANIEL LESLIE (Certificate of Competency : c 10528 London Feb.26th.1857)

      Voyage in the Arabia in 1871 and he married Ann Wright in Kensington in 1872. Also he had a house in Middleton One Row near Darlington where Ann and his son lived, although he was also part owner of the ship Nereus with the Caird brothers in Greenock when he died.

      Born : 1832, son of John Leslie (Fishcurer) & Isabel ??

      Married : Ann Wright in 1872 (Jul-Aug-Sep) in Kensington, London

      Died : May 4th.1881 at Longside. (Death Certificate 218 (14))

          I have Peterhead Leslies in my family tree also. My great grandfather James Rankin was a seaman and I think he was a Master at some point.

          Do you have him as a Master?

          DOB Oct 18, 1845  DOD July 21, 1921 in Peterhead.

          I have been able to find him on only one boat.
