ASEAN University Network convene the 12th AUN Educational Forum and Young Speakers Contest in Thailand. The forum will be hosted by Mahidol University (MU) on 2 – 9 May 2011 at Nakorn Pathom and Kanchanaburi campuses under the theme “Strengthening ASEAN+3 Higher Education through Community Engagement”
The Forum primary objectives, are to allow participants to gain a deeper understanding of the issues and challenges facing ASEAN and East Asian communities and to encourage higher education cooperation towards ASEAN and East Easian integration.
Undergraduate students from all faculty, preferably in the second or third year of study
Call for Papers: Educational Forum
Students who wish to participate in this forum must submit 1.500 words paper addresing the theme “Strengtheneing ASEAN+3 Higher Education through Community Engagement”.
Participating students will be asked to make a 10 minutes oral presentation of their paper at the forum and the discussion will be opened after the presentation to arrange the ASEAN Youth Joint Statement
Call for Papers: Young Speakers Contest
Students who wish to participate in this forum must submit 2.000 words paper reflecting the theme “Strengtheneing ASEAN+3 Higher Education through Community Engagement”.
Particiapnts of the Young Speakers Contest are requested to orally present their speeches that are relevant to the main theme. The oral presentation should not exceed 10 minutes in length. Presentations will be scored in terms of content and participants oratical skill
