It has been reliably reported that a Jocotoco Antpitta (Grallaria redgelyi) has been heard in the region of Hahamongna Watershed Park.

If this sighting proves true, it not only will be the first sighting outside of Ecuador, but the first sighting of an Antpitta in North America!

The ornithological community is a buzz and you can help with the search. This will be a prime target on tomorrow's monthly walk at Hahamongna.

      Good birding!

This is a good example of why the activist community works so hard to protect Hahamongna! [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
