      About the guest

Captain L. Edward VanHoose M.A. is an acclaimed biblical, scientific, and philosophical source. Though fully credentialed, he’s just fine as "Capn" Larry. Astute Chesapeake Bay waterman and jovial merry mystical mariner of the old school, his wit and photography serve readers well, in navigating a very serious book.

With a background as Captain, Contractor, and Plumber, he emphasizes practicality and easy to follow insight.

Learning contracting and plumbing in the family business, he earned his maritime positions from deckhand to Captain, gaining a Coast Guard Master’s license. After receiving a BA from the University of Baltimore, he received his Master's in Transpersonal Study (parapsychology and the like) from Atlantic University in Virginia. He studied there, with author, Jess Stearn.

"Capn Larry," the father of three, is a fourth time grandfather. His present port is Virginia Beach, where he lives on a fine sailboat finding life, liberty, and hapinness a most pleasant pursuit.

      About the book

Foreword by Jess Stearn. This is a meticulously researched, yet reader friendly, approach. When the insights of science, philosophy, early Judeo/Christian/Islamic thought, America's founders, thinkers' like Albert Einstein, common sense, and the work of Edgar Cayce are applied to case studies of biblical personalities, a fascinating read is the result.
